Welcome to your point of contact for aesthetic facial surgery. The face is an expression of personality, health, and joie de vivre—and often influences our self-confidence more than we think.
Are you looking for gentle rejuvenation, harmonization of your facial features, or a targeted correction that suits you? At Dr. Münzberg's practice clinic, you have access to modern, proven procedures in plastic and aesthetic facial surgery as well as minimally invasive treatments.
Our goal: natural results – tailored to your anatomy, your wishes, and your life situation. In a personal consultation, we will clarify which method makes medical sense, which results are realistic, and which treatment path is right for you.
Important: Medical-functional procedures in classic oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMF) are not part of aesthetic facial surgery. If you require such treatment, we will be happy to assist you with a suitable recommendation to an appropriate specialist practice.
Below you will find an overview of the most common procedures and methods. We will discuss the details individually during your consultation.
Upper Eyelid Lift
Upper eyelid lift is part of facial surgery. If there is significant excess skin in the upper eyelid area, usually accompanied by morning swelling and possibly restricted vision, an upper eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) may be indicated. Eyelid lifts performed by a specialist usually leave hardly any visible scars.
Lower Eyelid Lift
A lower eyelid lift may be advisable for bags under the eyes, excess skin, or pronounced tear troughs. Depending on the initial situation, the incision is made either below the lash line or from the inside (transconjunctival). The aim is to achieve a more alert, smoother appearance—without a “surgery-enhanced” look.
Facelift
A facelift can reposition sagging tissue structures in the middle and lower face as well as along the jawline. Depending on the findings, different techniques may be considered (e.g., SMAS techniques). The goal is visible but natural rejuvenation. The incisions are placed so that they are as inconspicuous as possible in the hairline and around the ear.
Lip Augmentation
Many people want more volume, more defined contours, or a balanced ratio between the upper and lower lips. Depending on your wishes, the following options are available:
- Hyaluronic acid fillers (degradable, easily controllable),
- if necessary, autologous fat (from your own body, long-term approach—results vary from person to person),
- in selected cases, other procedures depending on the findings.
The goal is always to achieve a lip shape that suits your face and looks natural.
Bullhorn Lift
The bullhorn lift shortens the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip (philtrum). Excess skin can be removed and the upper lip gently lifted via a fine incision made directly at the base of the nose. This can make the lip area appear fresher and more youthful—with discreet scarring.
Ear Correction
Protruding ears or pronounced ear shapes can be distressing at any age. Ear correction is an established procedure to harmonize the shape of the ears and bring them closer to the head. The incisions are typically made behind the ear.
Neck Lift
The neck often shows signs of aging early on: sagging skin, fatty tissue in the floor of the mouth, double chin, or the so-called “turkey neck” are typical reasons. A neck lift can significantly improve the neck contour and support a more harmonious profile—often in combination with a facelift.
Ear Lobe Correction, Flesh Tunnel
Heavy earrings or stretched ear holes (flesh tunnels) can cause tears, splits, or thinning. An earlobe correction can restore the natural shape—often as a minor outpatient procedure.
Rhinoplasty
The nose strongly influences the appearance of the face. If its shape or size is considered unsightly (e.g., hump, broad bridge, asymmetrical tip), cosmetic rhinoplasty can harmonize the profile. If there is also a deviated septum, breathing can also be taken into account. The appropriate technique depends on the anatomy, skin condition, and desired outcome.
Not everyone wants surgery. That's why we also offer modern, minimally invasive methods for facial rejuvenation:
In a personal consultation, we will discuss:
Your wishes and goals (including “What specifically bothers you?”),
- Medical requirements,
- Treatment options (surgery vs. minimally invasive),
- Realistic results,
- Risks, side effects, downtime, and aftercare,
- Costs and procedure.
Transparency and safety are our top priorities.
Migraine Treatment
Botulinum toxin is not only used in aesthetics. It can help to relax tense muscles and alleviate symptoms in certain types of migraine/headache. We will determine whether treatment is appropriate after reviewing your medical history and findings.
Autologous Fat Treatment
Autologous fat can be used to fill in sunken areas of the face (e.g., cheeks, temples, lips). To do this, fat is removed from suitable areas, processed, and injected precisely. Autologous fat is the body's own fat—its durability varies from person to person and depends on healing and the initial situation.
Eyebrow Lift
Sagging eyebrows can make you look stern or tired. Depending on the initial situation, the following options are available:
- surgical procedures (removal/repositioning of skin/tissue),
- minimally invasive thread methods,
- non-surgical options (e.g., botulinum toxin or hyaluronic acid—depending on the findings).
Dark Circles under the Eyes Treatment
Dark circles under the eyes are often genetic or caused by thin skin. Depending on the cause, conservative measures, injections, or surgical procedures (e.g., lower eyelid lift) may be possible. A precise analysis of the findings is crucial, as “dark circles” can have different causes.
Thread Lift
Thread lifting is an innovative, safe method of facial rejuvenation and, unlike injection treatments, allows the facial structures to be repositioned. It is often advisable to combine thread lifting with Botox or hyaluronic acid treatment.
Wrinkle Treatment
Botulinum toxin can smooth out expression lines (e.g., forehead, frown lines, crow's feet) by temporarily reducing certain muscle activities. The aim is to achieve a refreshed, natural expression—without stiff facial expressions.
Hyaluronic Acid (Filler) – Volume & Contour
Hyaluronic acid can restore volume, emphasize contours (e.g., cheeks, jawline), or reduce fine lines. The choice of product and technique determine the naturalness and safety of the results.
